I wish i had a better light over my xingu tank to test this theory. I have multiple hob filters on my tank and my xingu is all spangled upYes. It's been weeks now and you can still see what the HOB did to the three. No color and no spangle.
It appears your on the low ph and me in the middle 6.6 and Hulon on the high end at 7.6. I am compileing photos and try to get them all in one post today. I have no idea but we have something to compair right now I guess we could post up last week's diet before update pics and ph also to keep track. Basic data I am sure were all doig at least 50% W/C 2x's a week so there is that for a medium. All basic's attribute also when tank changes are made usual upgrade's.So reading between the lines, pH affects color?
Im sure we are all good on are wc's...but tank size also plays a factor in that. I do 1-2 wc's a week of 50-70% on a 130g tank. I also still have my solo xingu(friggn wish i had more xingus), in w/ my 4 orino's. There is a huge size difference. Im guessing my x is about 5in while my orinos are around 3-3.5in. The orino's run that side of the tank...the xingu is a sissy! It appears your on the low ph and me in the middle 6.6 and Hulon on the high end at 7.6.
