...and SAFE is even more concentrated (in powder form). I bought a 1 KG (2.2lbs) container and the label states it will treat 200,000 gallons.

I bought this same kilo for 35 bucks shipped, which means for my 500 gallons currently running, I'm covered for 50% weekly water changes for 15 years. $2.33 a year for water changes

very cost effective.

well my friend use it indoor and the whole house smell really bad!
Probaby, your friend has a smelly house, and there's nothing to do with SAFE that he used..

well, if you don't know anything then you should stop posting stupid comments! and it might have some problem of my friend is mostly a salt water fish keeper! he used normal prime and pond prime with no problem, but then come the Safe with a freaking smell!

Hung Dang - have you noticed the pattern here yet?

Your friend is the only one having an issue with managing to stink up his entire house when using Safe. ;)

I've been using Seachem Safe "indoors" for years with no odor issues whatsoever. Sure the powder itself has an odor (it's more concentrated), but unless you are leaving the container open for extended periods of time, and have no air movement in your home, there shouldn't be any lingering odor issues.
