Ha ha! Finally! It's getting close to the finish line. This is a lot better than watching reality tv, full of drama and suspense but unscripted. Congratulations.

Still looking good. Not a single drip of water can be found under or around the tank.

I think we have a fish tank!

Just deciding on how long to let it sit before moving forward.

Final steps are to Drain, install background, put in sand, rocks, finish plumbing, fill and let filtration cycle.

I think I let out a big sigh of relief after reading this whole thread and reached the last post about no leaks! Lol I was a little apprehensive with the original build process and felt a little more confident with the addition of fiberglass.

When I built mine I only used plywood with no supports and put on 3-4 layers of fiberglass inside and out and it's held up over a year with only a minor leak around the base of the window. After adding some silicone to the inside corners it's had no issue. I'm convinced the fiberglass is necessary for rigidity as well as waterproofing.

I just hope this tank is up and running soon and look forward to the finished product. :D

"I started filling the tank up @ 8am and by 10:30am it will completely full."

Over 2700 gallons in 2 and a half hours? You must have the worlds best water pressure! I think it took 8 hours to fill my 3000.

Congratulations VL!
