The plants have been in the tank since 2008 and have caused no problems. they have not faded in colour. got told the cork bark wouldn't last either, but 3 years later its still looking great and have plants growing out of it to. will put a photo up of them just letting them grow out the top of the tank. I also used reptile sand as i liked the look of it more than the other stuff. anyway glad you like.
