Depending on your level of experience applying fiberglass and polymer, I'd say the most likely scenario is that you have a pinhole, not a crack. I would sand the bottom to eliminate any needles and high points and go over the leaking spot with another layer of resin and glass.Im sorry if i derail here, but i did use fiberglass in the whole bottom on my tank, there is a leak, the water comes out in a area of 40x40cm in the bottom, varius places there.. Im not sure if the leak actually is there, but since the is no sign of water anywhere else im thinking there is a cracking around that area.. Would anxtra layer of fiberglass\epoxy eliminate the problem, or will it just crack in flexing? (like the first layer probably did.) The leak is so frikking small, its like 1dl a 3 days at max. And at a certain level(probably preasure).
I use to live in Ipswitch UK. Remember we can't have the beloved Asian Aro (legally) here in the US. And the beer is not as good alsoAwesome thread, nice work. Just read it from start to finish, makes my 10x2x2 look tiny.....
Not to self - move to america - buy house with basemtn - build a 3000 gallon tank
