Chinese restaurant near me has HUGE oscars. Not gonna guess how big they are, but next time I go I"ll have a look

I don't think I had the biggest, but mine was about 13". I fed him hakari cichlid gold, shrimp, krill, crickets, bloodworm cubes, and the occasional swordtail.
The tank is a 72g bowfront, which he out grew.

What a brute!

They'll get to 6-7" really quick, possibly 1 inch a month, but after that it'll slow down dramatically, but it all depends on tank size, water quality, feeding..

The growth slows down a lot after 12".
