To all the bickering over Petsmart vs fish breeders -
Everyone knows how 'buyer beware' works. It should be a buying standard, you buy something - you should know what you got yourself into, or you will learn as you go. Buying from Petsmart, local fish stores, people off Craigslist, "reputable" dealers - it's all the same to me. Everyone can have good or bad fish, sometimes the chances are better or worse, but I would never assume that if I buy from Petsmart I will get a sick fish nor would I assume I will get a healthy fish if I pay $100 from a local fish breeder. Cr@p happens, that's we we have quarantine tanks and medications.
It is my understanding that Chris created this thread so progress can be followed on specific fish - Kamfa/Syn hybrid fish bought at Petsmart. I didn't like the idea at first because we have a Petsmart thread running, but this one just makes it more specific, it'll be easier to look at later on too. Let's keep the thread on track before it becomes a train wreck. Here's a pic of the one I kept, it's from a few days ago, so not the best pic.
