Tank is running perfect with no signs of problems. Drywall is still going up and hope to have it done in the next few weeks.

No new deaths, everyone is adjusting just fine.

I'm still in complete awe of this project, every time I look at it my wife just glares at me Once that basement is finished you will never leave it, I know I wouldn't!! Congrats on an outstanding build.

Quick question: How do you like the ultima canister filter vs. the sump system on your 1500 tank? I'm sure by now you went through the paces of cleaning the new filter and so on. Is it the way to go for very large tanks? I'm sure it cost more than a sump type filter. Considering price and everything what system would you recommend for a 5K and up tank?

Wow I just re read the entire thread as I have been way to busy at work for the last several months that I haven't been on here. This is yet another awesome build and sharing what you have learned is awesome for the rest of us. Thanks and I can't wait to see the entire project finished.
