they dont seem to do real well, I had them in a bucket filled to the top with water and an hour and half later, all were on their sides, I thought they all died but I gave them some fresh water before I left and they were fine. So not sure how they would do with being shipped.Man you have to ship me some of those longears!
I think the only way to ship natives would be to starve them for 2 days then put In some bag buddies or an aireator that's battery powered and turn it on. Some are very fragile. I caught some awesome longears this weekend! Sure did, Im taking a few to cprmike in cbus this weekend. Im going back tomorrow after the gym and concentrate on smallies and kentuckies only. I have enough sunfish for now.so did you keep all these fish and add them to your tank?
This is my biggest from a creek, my biggest from a pond was 11 1/2", he was huge, wish I still had him. I need a warmouth now.Monster Greenie! Gotta love them! It's hard to find a trophy green sunfish these days.
