they look neat but i'm working with a 90g not a 500, just would prefer the redbreast or pumpkinseed over the shellies 
500 Gallon Native Tank

Went creek fishing today, my buddy caught him a spotted gar for his tank, we got some crappie, I got three he got 2, I also got a white bass in the cast net today fishing for gar bait, he was perfect size so he is in my tank. He also caught 2 drum, only one made it home alive so he took it. I need on of those next.
Nice! Glad you got another whiper, great active fish if it has any traits of the traits that my striper has.
Caught this lil guy while cast netting for creek fish. Besides this guy I caught a green sunfish, few small bluegill and a lot of minnows.
Im headed back to Ohio to fish the creeks again, hoping for at least one more rock bass, a pumpkinseed and a bullhead and crawdads.
The snake is in my 220 right now till I decide if I want to convert the 265 to a snake/fish tank or just turn it loose, just not sure yet.
Below is my gf cast netting for some creek fish, she didnt do too bad for first time. Its only a 3' span, perfect for creeks.
