Fyi this whole thread is stupid. He won't post a clear good set of pictures. If and if this fish is really in freshwater great and be proud of such a cool fish. But this guy is just messing with everyone. Giving people a false idea or at least not being very clear about everything. Heck I could photoshop that fish in with my peacock bass and make it look the same. These fish really need Salt

That tank doesn't look like 1000G - what are the dimensions?
He has said 1000 gallons in a few places so that's what he says

When water in a tank have any salt, it will foam up on the return. That is what it looks like but I could be wrong. I do not see the real problem yet with that fish in the current tank. Many people keep fishes such as Arapaima, TSN, and RTC. Many of us did it in the past, currently doing it, and may do it in the future. There is plenty of people with a larger tank that are willing to re-home the fish for a reasonable fee. Free would bring in irresponsible people. Some people look at the moment and some look too far down the line. As long as the fish is taken care of properly and don't show signs of stress, the is the main thing . If we want to blame anyone, we have to start with the people importing and selling them for a profit.

One reason it would make sense to have sw decor is that coral and marine sand would help buffer the water, which is better for the grouper I presume. Just my 2 cents.

As far as bb grouper in fw... Well, Fugupuff did it
