How Mutch do flower horns grow a month ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
At first they grow quite fast, and you'll see a juvenile reach 6-7" in 6-8 months. The larger they get, they slower they grow, and it can take a couple of years to reach near full size - they keep growing a long, long time though, however slow it gets. If you keep it for their full lifespan, which can be up to 15 years, you'll have a fully grown fish of approximately 12" depending on the strain... My source- Internet

In my experience with 1 flowerhorn that is currently about 4 inches... slow, maybe 1/4 inch per month... but I have heard they grow fast so maybe my flowerhorn is not reguler in growth? anyway yours is growing nice and fast...

Back inthe day, I bred flowerhorn...........From a one inch baby to 6-7 inches, 5-6 months.............40-50% water change every week..........Varied diet, but color enhancing pellets as a morning and evening staple...............

aquamonster i think oscaroo means 2/8 a month so in other words about a quarter of an inch a month
