When I got mine it was under a inch it took to bloodworms and pellets right away but it's about 3 1/2 now and eats anything. It's in a tank with a pr of kribs, Odessa barbs, zigzag eel, whiptail catfish, cories and zebra pleco. I haven't had any problems with aggression and all seem to get along fine.

Theyre like crack to them, I tried it once and I had to re train hime onto pellets

Depends an what type of shrimp pellet. I use to feed mine wardly shrimp pellets and im pretty sure it made him sick. I feed hikari sinking carnivore pellets now.

Yeah,it'd be great if you can get it to eat Hikari pellets rather than shrimp pellets.

Man this things are amazing I think they might be wc I love the pattern on them oooh forgot to mention I got 2 of this giant suckers,the guy gave me a discount so why not I'll give one to my little bro tomorro when I go over my moms
