I just wanted to share my Black Arowana grow out tank.
There are 3 Black Arowana's all together. I had the first one which is the smallest, it is 13" for about two months. I recently just purchased another pair, they are both 14-15" They have been in my tank for about 2 weeks. I have no problems with all three of them being together. The smallest one just so happens to be the one with a lot of the orange/yellow tips I'm guessing as they grow older there is less orangey/yellow? The smallest one is also on a Hikari Carnivore Stick diet, the two new ones havent eaten yet since i got them, its only a matter of time though.
Here is the 13" flawless arowana:

The other pair is basically identical, there is some scale damage on both of these guys from the transportation but other than that just beautiful.
Bunch of random pictures off my iphone 4s:

One of the best South american arowana comm i've seen

nice looking arowana's great coloration.Just curious I live in canada and I could get asian arowana's do you think one could live in a tank that is 65"x26"x26" sorry to post this on your thread btw.

I dont have pictures of the arapaima, ill be able to get some tomorrow, i forgot to mention i have a liechardti arowana in another grow out take waiting for it to get big enough to join these guys.

And i believe the lighting definitely brings out the color more. Im using an led fixture that has white and a few blue leds, you can kinda tell in some of the pictures with the reflection. Ill take more pictures with the surrounding lights tomorrow.

I really love the black arowana i just hate the price tag that comes with it!
