only can be Dovii or rtm. I still can't figure it out at this size and pics.

If this was a test question, I'll fill in male rtm.

it's Good educated guess.. better than guessing that it's gold fish.

how big is he now?

I'm gonna go on the hybrid bandwagon that doesn't seem to be offered yet. I see dovii in there but it looks to have another of the smaller parachromis (mota, fred, lois) in there as well in body shape. At that size it should be a definite this or that on species. Motaguensis at 1" are easily determined as are dovii at that size and this fish doesn't display 100% of either.
