Wow - I'm knackered! What a journey - just did the whole thread! What a drama you've had, but boy was it worth it. Great job, amazing perseverance, fantastic result. Well done, that was a true labour of love. G

Thanks.. Hoping to add a couple of Lince cats as soon as some are available.
Sounds awesome. Would love some lince but my wallet needs to get a lil deeper first lol.

I will be building a 16' long 4' wide 4' tall plywood tank for my fowlr. I read all your trials and tribulations. It looks like I will be getting a grade A plywood to start and using similar support structures you used, question is, if you had a choice again, would u use 4x4 for the windows? I am curious if I should go with doubled up 2x4/2x6 instead of a 4x4 .

I like the solidness of the 4x4s so yes I would use them again. On a 4' tall tank I would think a 4x4 is the way to go for sure as the pressure difference between a 3' tall tank and a 4' tall tank is a bit more and I would also start to look at all the support structures on the bottom portion of the tank (supports, plywood, fiberglass, bottom window brace, etc.) with that in mind I would use a 4x4 for sure on a 4' tall tank.

A 4' tall tank is out of my comfort zone so all this is strictly opinion based on my limited experience so there is a good chance I am wrong.

Love watching big builds so please keep us posted when you get going.
