Yea, it was harder to make them fish safe then the whole build. I'm not exaggerating, allot of time as well. I am a hobbyist gone wild. It started when my boss bought a antique boat. (hobby) I said I can restore it, he said go for it. Won a few shows, about 6 months later we had a 5000 square foot boat shop. Realized I can build things and really enjoyed doing it. Started building tanks, really liked it. Did some construction, custom work theaters rooms, walk in cigar humidors then Started building aquariums. Years later we got a little store that needed some help. Then till now just realized wow this hobby got a little carried away. I spent hours researching making calls searching the web because I got carried away. I'm actually working on a 200,000 gallon pond where I'm putting some 4 inch thick viewing panels. Will be the biggest thing I've done lol by far. Had to triple think it!
your builds are inspiring. i never liked themed tanks, but that construction tank is sick! looks like its just kids toys but i can imagine the care needed to make those aquarium safe. guessing you are more than a hobbyist with those builds!
