Would you care to share some of your design sketch? lol. How many years are you in the field of "tank building"?
About 10 years but not full time till I started at a pet store. What do you mean by sketch? I go off a few measurements ill write down and everything else just as I go. Like ill jot down a shape and the size then see what size pieces I need. Then if you look at the PVC there's a frame drawn in marker on the cardboard we stay inside. Most of the time it's written on cardboard or my table.

I used work construction the moved to just wood working like walk in Cigar humidors, wine cellars, theater rooms, old wood boats etc.

Looking forward to seeing the tree root thing progress! Building those big acrylic tanks looks so simple, would love to have a crack at it one day myself...
It is anything but simple...lol. I thought the same thing, but after seeing Jrt and the RT4 crew build mine as it had to be done in the house do to doorway issues... It is a ton of work and some precision craftsmanship.
