A lounge ban means a section of the site has been removed from the members log in. It completely disappears. For example when you report a post, you do not see where it goes? That is because there is another subforum in the site that a moderator or higher log in is needed to gain access into. Most members do not know there is a sub forum just like the lounge that reported posts go to for us to action. Just the same a moderator does not see the global moderator areas of the site and I can only assume admins have areas we globals cannot see either. (I am positive Li has his own subforum where he talks to himself "The Herro Admin Lounge")
Any section of the site can be "banned" from a members log in.
