leiarius marmoratus help

I got him 2 weeks ago and he hasn't eaten anything,I have tried bloodworms ,shrimp and 3kinds of sinking dry food
should I worry? or is this normal?
There is also a sting ray and silver arowana in the tank and they both started to eat much sooner when I got them.​

Anyhow, do you know what it was fed before and what water it came from? If the waters are very different, it is not surprising he takes time to adjust. If he was fed, e.g., live, he will take any other foods when he is hungry enough. They are unfussy scavengers, not much of predators at all. Still, are all his tankmates accounted for?

Looks like a platy/lei hybrid? My tsn would only eat market prawn/shrimp and white fish whole or chunks

The store I got him from said they had been feeding him sinking dry food,his tank mates are motoro stingray,silver arowana, 2x african knife,green terror,5x silver dollar and 6x clown looach (might move them,going to see how it goes)

I would try the shrimp/prawn or white fish but 2 weeks isn't to long for a catfish so don't worry yet and he might be eating scraps at night.

It looks like a tsnxachara to me but hopefully someone else can give an opinion, I would say not a marmoratus tho

DefinAtely a hybrid. I feed mine massivore, NLS , tilapia, shrimp. Earthworms. Do you have anything with it that might be stressing it out?

+1 on it being a hybrid as for it not eating I'd be a little worried only because any Lei or Lei hybrid I ever had ate within a day and it's unusual for a catfish to ignore live and shrimp. Despite the other fish doing so well I'd test the water to be on the safe side and ask the pet store what specifically they where feeding him. I'd also check like joel suggested to see if anyone is picking on him. So far though in the pics despite not eating he looks to be indecent condition as he's not overly thin and his coloration looks good.

Try feeding with the lights off and drop his food in the same place every time. My achara didn't eat very much for the first 2-3 weeks either but now he pounces every pellet that hits the sand. They definitely prefer sinking food and dim lighting

I've kept 7 or 8 1.5'-2' "Leiaius marmoratus". IME and that of others, there is some degree of variability in their appearance. But I have never seen one like that and this is the most attractive, I'd say, to me.

I think we should lighten up on the hybrid calling. Does anyone know what Leiarius longibarbis (recently split from L. marmoratus) look like? IDK. I am ~100% positive that none of us has seen it yet. Given that, how can we call it a hybrid?

Albeit it indeed may be a hybrid, it is most prudent to eliminate all of the pure-species candidates first.
