had to euthanize my dog, [nearly] 15 1/2 yrs old last week. it has really taken the wind out of my sails

husband is sad and the other dog is mourning.

Ouch! I'm sorry. 15 years is a lot of good times though, I hope all of you feel better. R.I.P to your pooch.
