Did you try the method you suggested to me as well by dipping the food in the pellet powder so it got used to the taste? Unfortunately that didn't work for me but it might've for othersThanks guys!
He's still 6-7" or so. He hasn't grown much because I tried (and failed) intermittently for three more months to get him back onto pellets. The only way I've been able to get pellets into him is by going back to the stuffing worms method. He should explode in growth over the next couple of months me thinks. We'll see.
He's still got that same awesome personality though. He glass knocks and begs like a big cichlid!
I do have some more going on in that tank now than just him, but I'll wait until that project is mostly done before updating on it.
You're too much a pushover. Starve him....I've tried everything I could think of. No luck! It has become quite frustrating but I've accepted it.

They can go that long without food at that size?!After three months of starvation, he had a divot in his back. I think he'll die before taking pellets.
