not all reality shows are bad.

tattoo nightmares is cool to watch. some of the work they do to cover bad tattoos are pretty dope. I also enjoy face/off. even though it's redundant, they do the same thing over and over again as far as showing the process of what goes into the makeup and costumes. it's awesome to see the artists come up with costume ideas and concepts and then bring it to life step by step.

so when it comes to reality tv, I prefer stuff like tattoo nightmares and face/off over the crap like jersey shore and kardashians and things like that.

heck, when my wife is watching the bachelor, i'll be on the couch with the tablet or something and block out everything else except for all the eye candy. and it's pretty amusing to me to see like 20 hot women compete for one dude, lol
 
Tattoo nightmare is barely a reality show. To me it feels more like a game show/contest or cooking show as they don't follow any of the artists personal life. There have been tattoo shows that actually document the running of a shop and their drug, gambling, relationship and financial problems as well as the sick art.

I do perfer this forrmula but it's basically a different category in my mind.

meh, they all fall under the same umbrella-ella-ella.

to me, a reality show is anything that is real people doing real things where there are no paid actors following scripted plots
 
Sure, the judge shows and Americas top model and cupcake wars are reality TV by your definition. They are, just not the same thing as truly following a job, hobby or a lifestyle

Cutthroat kitchen is nice reality TV

it is kind of retarded but I don't mind, as long as it doesn't conflict with my shows. her shows are gray's anatomy, bachelor/bachelorette. she used to watch American idol but stopped for few years now.

I got her into walking dead and game of thrones, now she's hooked.
 
Lol, I think the bachelor/ette annoy me the most. Actually I got my lady on the oldies too, she likes em :)
 
it is very highly annoying. but I enjoy the eye candy. I told my wife if I was the bachelor i'd have pool parties on the regular
