At that size any carnivore food should work. Mine ignore frozen food of any kind and fresh fillets, go figure.
General comment on L25 growth. It takes about 2.5 years for a 1.75" fry to grow to 7.25" TL in aquariums. I would estimate about 3 years total from hatching. I was moving fish around and always try to measure them to track growth rates. After 7 years the amount of data starts to be interesting.

PseudaSmart PseudaSmart that's funny. I've got one of your 600s and he goes crazy for seafood. But then again, he's a vacuum cleaner in general come feeding time haha
