Hello Everybody, My name is Kevin and I live in Holland.

I hope there is someone that can help me, I have a tank with 8500 gallon fresh water.

I have a large Vieja Synspilla couple,
1 Oscar
1 Pearsei
1 Couple Stingray.
3 Geophagus.

I would like to have more species of the Vieja Familly. Is this possible?

thanks in advance,

Regards,
Kevin.

Welcome to MFK, Kevin!

When I saw 8500gal I said "wow", but 600gal is also impressive. Please post some pictures when you get a chance. I'm a big fan of Viejas myself.

Big Vieja fan here also. I agree, we need pics please :)

I think 600 gallons would be plenty of room to keep some other vieja. I see members here with tanks containing a couple different viejas all the time. Hopefully other members will chime in with their experiences. I have an Argentea and a young Black Belt together myself and so far they are fine together. I'm hoping it stays that way but only time will tell.
