If you're able to get enough pieces, then skip the plywood project and go all glass.

Unfortunately I can only get 2 so I'll be committed to using wood. I could build two 5' tanks, one 10' tank or even a 5'×5' tank with glass on 2 sides. I have no need for glass at the back because I don't have room for a tank that can be viewed from both sides. This will be my first build so I should probably keep it simple.

Any of those would look cool, 5x5 might look weird if only two sides have glass; and would only really suit a corner...

depends how big you wanna go i guess, i think the 100 gallon sounds sweet
