Hi, I'm getting my first cichlid tank on monday- a 37 gallon! I'm super exited but i need some help concerning the stocking, the tank is 3 ft long, 915mm X 355mm, we just going to get a basic filter, no canister- the max we can spend on a filter is around $50, any recommendations? we'll try to find a basic heater somewhere, anyway- heres three of the options was hoping for (only one of them, obviously):

All male peacock tank, with a brittle nose catfish and a something else that can hang with them for a little variety (any suggestions?) I love convict cichlids, but i don't think they can live with the peacocks. Ive got my heart set on at least a few peacocks.
