XMAS POLY ID :)

i bought a few polypterus for chirstmas today, i found this one with a few endli's and decided to buy him for cheap. i wasnt paying attention, i found out when i finally released it into the tank, poor fish didnt have eyes. im looking to id it, my money is on guinean bichir. but it might just be a skinnier, darker endlicheri..with no eyes. =_=

Yeah, it looks like an endlicheri with no eyes. The lack of eyes gives it that darker color, because it's trying to camoflouge itself with its surroundings.

I wouldn't feel dumb. Still a nice pick up. Don't usually see these everyday

Like dr b said all it sees is black cause of no eyes so it tries to blend with black so it will always be really dark like that

I have a dumb question. Won't that poly eat that kuhli loach like a noodle/earthworm?
