What should I do with my convict fry once they hatch?

A pair of my convict cichlids just recently laid some eggs in my aquarium... What should I do with the fry when they hatch? I definitely can't keep them all. Any ideas or advice? Thanks :)

You can leave them in with their parents, or siphon them out place them in a separate aquarium. Btw if you remove them the pair will spawn again. :)

I mean for the long term. I can't house 100-300 convicts. I will give some away but not many people want more than 5

They make excellent stir fry, just kidding; convicts aren't the most marketable fish. Probably give/trade to LFS's or feeders.

Depends what you wanna do with them. You can just raise them and sell them for like 50 cents each or just let them be with parents and let nature do its thing

I just let them hatch and moved them into a Rubbermaid tub with the parents. The tub is 13 gallons with a sponge filter and an old 10 gallon heater that keeps the water at 78f.

I think I'm just going to feed them to my largemouth bass

If you have hiding spots, you'll end up with grown up convicts pretty soon lol; they're terrific survivors
