Well IMO I think it's whatever floats your boat. I'm not a fan of the bp's. I like natural fish. So that being said I have a question for whomever knows. What about glow fish? Is this not natural or is it? I've always wondered. An for the record I don't like them either. Just my preference. Are they man made freaks of nature? And if so is it wrong?

It's no different from albino and other odd colorations.
 
Well I'll play Devils Advocate too who knows what the BP is. What fish were crossed to give it this appearance? Is there any scientific proof that han't been tampered with to prove it is in pain. If I were to guess for a start there is some Red Devil in there some where I mean why else would such an ugly fish think it was so tough.
If you like them you will buy them if you don't don't buy them. No one forces youto look at them in the store. Exception being your wife or girl friend then you have to look at them or risk looking like a BP yourself.

One can argue that it would be more responsible to keep mutations and line bred fish over removing fish from the wild and keeping them in a glass box.
