Throw in some salt, wc every other day till better and recheck ur water parameters. Post a pic. If not better or worse in a week then consider some tetracycline etc.
I did exactly that and did a 50% water change and this morning the bubble was noticeably smaller and the eye underneath it looks good.

Good job Brock11 Brock11 . Keep up the water changes and salt. Almost all problems get better with clean water.

So the pike is now away from the wolf and eye is better every day. I'm seriously amazed at how fast that wolf is growing. I'm being serious when I say that it has grown over an inch in 2 weeks. The odoe pike is with hujeta gar, red tail chaleus, Senegal Bircher, leopard eel, and a bushy nose. See any problems there right now anyways? Also I've got a breeding pair of convicts with the wolf and they are dominating him right now. The male convict bites me every time I put my hand in the tank.

The male convict is turning bright blue and has recently grown a hump on its head. Feisty little thing.

I would separate ur convict and wolf. Eventually the wolf will get bigger and kill the convicts. Cichlids are good with other cichlids and that's it.

The odoe pike will get bigger and kill those hujeta gar and pt chalceus. The gar and chalceus won't get big enough and not aggressive enough to deal with an odoe pike.

Yeah I think they will be fine for a while with the pike. He's the smallest right now and have seen no aggression. Also, I hope this doesn't make me look bad but I got the convicts for food originally for my piranha and the piranha just ate their tails so I moved them with the wolf and they have exploded and theived... Until he gets too tough with the wolf and he strikes back.

I think you're right about all of that. think i will leave them with the pike for now. The tank would look too empty with just the pike. I'll just watch for problems and be prepared to make a move. I have yet to see any aggression out of any of the those fish. I actually thought the pike would be more aggressive than it is. Will that develope with time? Thanks

Would it be seen as cruel to just leave the cichlids and let them breed until the inevitable happens?

Is that the purpose of the cichlids for fry as feeders?

I think you can get a divider or make one. Not that expensive.

You could give the convicts away. If you feel it's a cruel.

Yeah that's why I got them. I read that some have had luck with them in a piranha tank but my p ate both of their tails off immediately so I moved them. They were just chilling in there until like a week ago when they started their breeding behavior (at least that's what I'm assuming is happening, both more colorful and protecting a cave). I have to say I was surprised to get attacked by the male when cleaning. Haha it's a good thing they won't have teeth like a wolf or I would have taken some damage.
