What should I do with my convict fry once they hatch?

Feed to bigger fish or euthanize them. They will breed no matter what. Just have to deal with the consequences.

I wait until my convict and jewel fry are ~1" and use them as feeders. IME jewels breed almost as much as convicts.

If you care about raising about raising abundant of them up then I would remove the fry. If you don't care about how many survive then you can keep them with the parents.

I had some of my convicts living inside my canister filter 10 of them inside my xp4 for at least 1 month maybe more crazy dumped the filter out after cleaning my media and wow fish everywhere so they will fight to survive your best bet is use for feeders or give away completely if you don't want to keep them all

wow and I thought mine were tough.... Found a few that had somehow gotten into my DIY in tank k1 filter swimming around with the k1 kaldness media.
