i have an odoe pike, its about 10 inches long and eating very well. ive had it for a little over 5 months and its grown quite a bit. i just noticed that ever since i got it it had a little bump on its nose presumably from bumping into the sides of the tank.
ive yet to acquire some eugenol for sedating it. originally I'd planned to sterilize a pair of nail clippers and just clip the bump off. i just worry it might heal wrong.
the bump is almost like a wart, like the ones you see on pangasius catfish. around 5 mm across and 3 mm deep.
any help you can give me?

thanks in advance.

I would just leave it alone but good luck and keep us posted.

don't hate you at all. there are plenty reports of cosmetic procedures being done. I think especially in the arowana world. Personally I wouldn't bother.
