Not particularly. Geophagus don't often show strong sexual dimorphism. Sometimes males are larger, or have steeper foreheads, but oftentimes you cannot tell until they spawn. Here's an example of peathenster's winemilleri -- note that the male and female have equally long fins and the same colors.
