First time buyer from aquascape

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think it was just a stock photo they had laying around because there are many things that don't match up. Could be wrong just my opinion.
The jaw and mouth are what stick out the most to me. And size. But it's hard to use pictures to judge. I've just had a lot of others tell me that is not the same fish? I don't know. I guess I shouldn't have stated it as a fact.

And honestly I was just curious if they had ever had to like kick out a vendor or something. Not that it is going to happen just wondering what the process or justification had to be. By the way Richardson I love your photo with your name. Give me a little chuckle as I imagine I'm talking to him.
Glad you like the av,Brock!

I'd like to ask a serious question to the mods and staff and everyone else who runs this website. Will monster fish ever go to bat for its members will they stand beside us and help deliver the message that enough is enough? Or is there money to lose? HarleyK HarleyK SandNukka15 SandNukka15 jp80911 jp80911 ? Not trying to be trouble but just curious how you guys feel. After all you see and hear everything. Thanks guys

Take a deep breath.

I understand your frustration. All of us have had good and bad luck buying fish. Life is taking risks.

You don't like the experience, take your money elsewhere next time. Money rules.

Please realize that this was a transaction between You and the vendor. I neither get a commission for your purchasing from vendors, nor a salary for being a mod. I have no horse in this race. Aquascape simply advertise here. Like a print ad in a magazine. There is no reason for me to get involved. But I do ask you to stay level headed and take learnings away from this. Because while a lot of what happened is water under the bridge, you have the power of choice the next time you purchase fish.

I once got fish lice from a vendor, and I haven't gone back since then.

Live and learn.

I hope the fish pulls through for you.

Good luck.

Start performing a daily 10-20% water change and watch for improvement. If no improvement, we may need to run a cycle from broad spectrum antibiotic...

Some of these post a ridiculous. Ammonia burns are common during transit especially with piranha.

This has nothing to do with Aquascape. Poster clearly received the fish in good condition everything that happened afterwards is the new owners responsibility. Refund? funny.

I understand your frustration but to blame the vendor for this is completely unnecessary.

If you read everything he didn't look at the pictures very closely and the fish was shipped sick. He got the fish in sick and not in good condition.

Only the vendor is to blame to be honest selling a known sick fish.
