Hemichromis Fasciatus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Very nice!
Unfortunately the eggs were gone the day after. I'm really not sure what happened but the pair wasn't defending them as much as I would expect. It might have been first time jitters and maybe my pleco got to em, or maybe the parents ate em. The good news is the parents are still tightly bonded and the female seems to be plumping up again.

My Hemichromis Elongatus pair did the same thing. Think it took 3 spawns for them to get it. They're still are the foreplay stage

Well my pair may have finally got it right. This is their third plaque off eggs and I believe they have wiggles. Very exciting and fun to watch the tank now. The buttis are also enjoying getting to spread their fins now that I have separated the tank.

Looks like my gens didn't like they're food and decided to add "eggs" to their diet.... Eggs gone!!! Doh!!!
