It looks like the Arowana is doing better from what I can see in the profile pic. It's swimming at the top, the water is clear, and it's fins aren't retracted.

Good luck with the 200 gallon. The aro should be much happier in there as long as you get it cycled.

2meters x 40 x 50

This is what I am getting. Will this be okay? enough for my fish? I boughg it and will be picking up in the evening. made it rush.

If the tank is 2 meters x 40 centi x 50 centi, then it should be fine while the arowana is young. If my math is right, then that tank is only 100 gallons. An arowana needs at least 200 gallons depending on the dimensions of the tank.

The arowana will likely be around 24" within a year or so. In 3 years he will easily be around 36".

So, your looking at a minimum of 8x3' aquarium or around 350 gallons, if you intend to properly house it. Which is over 3 times larger than what you are looking to pick up.

If you wish to continue with this though, the tank you are looking at would certainly make a proper sump.

This is him at the moment. getting back in his normal life. I removed the GF. still waiting for the tank.

Hi Owens, then I need to get a bigger one by nxt yr. for now I need to transer him to a much bigger tank than what I have. for sure next yr I'll have enough time to order bigger tank.

What are your plans for filtration and heating?

Also, since adding the heater, has the Aro started eating at all?

I think so, I dropped 7 dried shrimps and now its 4. For the filter and heater, I'll visit LFS when I got the exact measures of my new tank later today. Big thanks for all your help

If they are custom building the new aquarium then you could probably have them drill holes for overflows and run a sump.

Or, there are plenty of larger canister filters. Just make sure you end up with enough filtration. Over filtering is better than underfiltering.
