Wow! I did not know that. I guess I didn't read enough. I read that it would happen from time to time that babies would come out blue and they were originally culled bc it was a mutation, but once people started deciding they were pretty, people started to try and breed them. If you breed 2 EBJD together they are most always too weak, but a EBJD and a JD will have blue genes and then the blue gene and a EBJD would have a high percentage of the mutant blue color. I thought they were a bit weaker bc they are a mutation, didn't really realize they were inbred.
