Love the fish, I have 3 pairs of these beautiful beasts, none in community lolMinus the aggression levels, which even at 3", I've classified as "LUDICROUS Aggressive"......just a little higher than "Extremely" and "Highly" Aggressive, the Motagua cichlid

Incredible, I imagine someone gave God a canvas and art tools and this is what he created for his personal fishtanks That fish is truly magnificent
Thank you, I had to put the larger 3.5" male in isolation recently, the female is sharing a temporary tank w/ a few heavily armored catfish (Raphael, Gibbiceps, Bulldog) and 2 Featherfins, the male Silver Saum (4-4.5"), and 2 Wolves 2.5" and 3".....however the smaller Wolf is being moved tonight. I already took the Emerald Corys out last week and a 2nd Bulldog Pleco was found half-eaten a few days ago Keeping new species always has it's down-sides, ya know?Love the fish, I have 3 pairs of these beautiful beasts, none in community lol
Ok, so which Vieja are those, Dan? not a zonatus, right? I'm learning Viejas this time around also.....the Redheads are the 1st Viejas I ever owned, TMK.Loving my big pink glassbanger
Would still love a trimac pair as well
LOTSA love for the Synspilum here tooMy favourite fish is still my melanura I used to have.I always regret not keeping these.A friend of mine has them now and they look even more magnificent than when i had them. The male must be a good 14 inches now and stunning.

That fish is perfect.Stunning example of the species. Leagues above any flowerhorn, give me a true trimac any day of the week.
