Put this lap on red pebbles and it will start to resemble a nile bichir

Just waiting to fix my other tank and ill put red sand on it, and my lower jaws and ornate will go in there

You can tell those bands are nice and thick. I think you change the sand that vancouver suggested it will look insane

I saw some red pebbles at my lfs, but i preffer sand, but if i cant find any red sand or red garnet, ill go for red pebbles

How big is your endlicheri and how old is it?
How big is it in comparison to your ornate and do they have relatively same growth speed?
Do your bigger bichirs attack the smaller ones?

I have size from 3"-9", my biggst one is the lap at 9" and the smallest is gold dust at 3",
Endli grows faster than the ornate, but i had one incident when my endli was small and one of my ornate ate my small endli,
But now i dont have any aggression happening. Hopefully knock in the wood.
