Of my fish the gold dust is a lazy bum, I have to watch his gills move to know he is alive. My Del, 1 sen, and my albino sen are realy active. My other sen is only active at night. So it realy does depend on the fish.
I am lucky that I claimed half my basement as a master bedroom and my wife finds splashing water relaxing. She let me have 13 tanks in there at one point and never said a word so she has zero complaints at the 4 I am running now.
