My LJ do really care about the DW, but i think for some reason they are scared of it. My ornates and palmas polli love it, they like to hangout in the branches.I wanna see how they react to the drift wood after being in a bare tank . My polys love and use thier hides but are still realy active. They have always had the hides tho will be interesting to see how yours react.
Let the fella go through 'the process'.How are you liking the Manzanita? I had some for a while but it would get covered in a black beard algae and it was very difficult to clean around since the pieces I had were quite big. I ended up selling it and going toward some smaller Mopani pieces. I do miss the branchy look of it.
I like the look so far, two pieces already sink in the bottom, my other big one still floating around. I like it cause its not to thick were the polys will just end up hiding. I cut the sharp edge so i dont have to worry them losing an eye or getting scratch. How are you liking the Manzanita? Lol. I gocha ya. I was prepared for polyaddict to post a 'what the heck is growing on my branches?' Thread after a few months.I will, I was just mentioning my issue, lol.
I had two very large pieces in my 210g and it took up a huge amount of space but looked really cool. One was like 48" and the other 43" so when set side by side almost appeared as if it were one large piece of wood. These were not skinny branches but had some serious meat to them. I need to see if I can dig up an old picture somewhere.
Lolz, i hope notLol. I gocha ya. I was prepared for polyaddict to post a 'what the heck is growing on my branches?' Thread after a few months.
