Need help/advice buying a spotted gar

I'm trying to buy a spotted gar right now and so far I've only really been able to find good ones on two sites rfitropicalfish and azgardens but when I look up reviews on them it was nearly all negative which concerns me but it could also be that only people who have bad experiences write reviews for them so if anyone has personal experience or knows someone who knows that be great or if you're looking to sell so please help I've been to the 10th page of Google it's scary out there

How do you know if they're a spotted cause they're is a gang of three gar at the lake next to house plus I'm not a very good fisherman

Use a rope lure made of ace rope, they aren't hard to fish for, just cast roughly 4 feet From them twitch lure on surface 3 or 4 inches at a time.
