Your cichla is a mono. The only way to truely tell if it's male or female is to vent them.

Im thinking it could be a hybrid, a special local variant or an undescribed species. What do you think? I have never seen a PB with the head coloration of this one before..

I know top piece is Kelberi, right piece is azul. Any idea what's the one at the bottom? Was bought as Azul but I'm thinking Temensis? However it exhibits some of Azul traits as well..
Hard to see them in the bag and they are stressed. Yeah kind of look like orinos to me.Just got these two wild caught cichla. It's around 3" looks like a kelberi but yellow/golden. Depending on the mood of the fish. There 3 long vertical bar where spot is at. View attachment 1228743
