Lady Sphinx, that has got to suck to not be ab'e to trust a courier service! Those guys get paid good money ti get a package from origin to destination safely. what normally happens, or what has happened for you not to trust them? No experience outside the U.S and Middle East with them here, just wondering.

I have twice received foods that were damaged during shipping and they simply sad sorry your stuff wasn't insured so...... Their insurance rates are ridiculous.
Trusting them with live fish......... no I don't think so
Sounds like the Post Office's insurance. It's a pain to get reimbursed for anything and you have to prove how much it cost. I shipped Jade statues to my family from Korea via the Postal Service and insured them.They ended up broken and then I was told sorry, since you don't have a receipt you get to have a broken statue.

If you have a pair or more of almost any Lake Malawi cichlid, you won't be able to prevent them from spawing without extreme effort. Same for many, but certainly not all, Rift type African Cichlids.
