Hey folks
Looking to sell my pair of pink belly sidenecks. Great turtles, i just would rather make their tank a planted tank. They get along great with fish. Currently they are with a red head geo, purple goby, blue tilapia, and 3 yoyo loaches, which are all for sale as well. They are both eating pellets and are doing great. Ive had them each for a year and i got them when they were a few months old. One is a bit larger than the other so its possible that they are a pair, no guarantee though. Both are not shy at all and follow me around the tank. They are great starter turtles and are super hardy. Both are about 2.5-4" shell length, i havnt measured them in a while but if you want an exact measurment of both, i can do that.

Im looking to get $65 for one or $100 for both. If you buy both ill throw in all of their food.

$10 for the 4" geo
$5 for the 5" goby
the 3" tilapia is free if you buy one of the turtles
$25 for the three loaches, $20 if you catch them yourself (they are super fast)
$125 for everything, which is less than what i bought the two turtles for when they where babies

Without a basking area, they would probably die. I have them in a 40 breeder with a, maybe 3" by 4" (if anything bigger) basking spot made of a big stack of slate. I have a UVB light going across the whole tank and a heat lamp and seperate UVB lamp on the basking spot. If you have the right lighting and a basking area, they will do great.

Prohibited with exceptions-http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfcfr/cfrsearch.cfm?fr=1240.62

According to 21CFR1240.62, a hobbyist is able to sell baby turtles as specified in the Exceptions below:

(d)Exceptions. The provisions of this section are not

applicable to:

(1) The sale, holding for sale, and distribution of live

turtles and viable turtle eggs for bona fide scientific,

educational, or exhibitional purposes, other than use as

pets.

(2) The sale, holding for sale, and distribution of live

turtles and viable turtle eggs not in connection with a

business.

(3) The sale, holding for sale, and distribution of live

turtles and viable turtle eggs intended for export only,

provided that the outside of the shipping package is

conspicuously labeled "For Export Only."

(4) Marine turtles excluded from this regulation under the

provisions of paragraph (a) of this section and eggs of such turtles.
