Well:
There is always a balance when keeping groups of predatory fish. Since the bambusa is called a (Chinese) 'tiger fish' I assumed that their as tuff as the African tigers. This guy was the biggest (in length) in my big tank, a tad bit longer than my VATF.
My mistake was to think that adding this guy in with my scats will be alright. Who knew that such an awesome powerful predator can be taken out by a bunch of herbivores...
you know, I thought that I had planned it all perfectly. I recently gave up my beautiful leichardti just so that there will be enough space for the bambusa in my big tank.
The 12" NGT, 14" VATF, 13" red tail payara and my 14" African arowana were perfectly fine with this guy...
