No clue but man they are cool. Never caught anything like that in the wild. Catch me a couple!!!

I suppose you being in Japan is why I've never seen them in the wild haha. Thought you were in the states somewhere. I think it be be pretty darn hard to ship them here but they sure are cool looking fish!!

Thanks, I'm new to this, I have no idea about shipping fish.

I got these guys while catching feeders for my piranhas, I usually throw sinking crawdad pellet food in a net and wait for a bunch of swordtail, wild guppies, medakas, or talapia to go in the net but these guys really didn't take the bait and were really fast, so I scooped them when they'd swim over the net.

It took a while to identify them, thought they some kind of bass, but a friend said might be a perch, found it on google images. Not much info on them, mostly from sport fishing sites in Australia. They're scientific name is Kuhlia rupestris
