Right now just a 40 breeder that was supposed to be my fry tank. With a clay gravel bottom and lots of driftwood and a few plants. I had 6 neon tetras in there keeping it cycled. Along with about thirty convict fry. This afternoon I looked in there and I'm down to 4 neons and I only see about 5 of the convict fry lol.
Yeah, he was the only "silver edged" in a tank full of golds or oranges. And he was definitely running the tank. Hell he is showing his own reflection who is boss ATM. I say "silver edged" because I really have no clue since this was simply a petland. But the fish guy there orders both nsl and southern delight and gets cool cichlids every now and again. So I stop by when I need food.
My female freddy, I had a really nice male that I was growing out with her but something got lodged in his throat and he died. I'm having trouble capturing her colors, but here you go.
That's how I feel every time I see a nice little green terror at lfs it's hard to say no but I think of how bad he would terrorize my calmer sa cichlids

Also, I know this isn't a cichlid but im looking forward to this guy, my 4.25" pink tail chalceus. Grown almost 2 inches since i got him 6 months ago and eats like a champ. awesome scales as well

I guess I would pick my male JD. I've been watching him grow patiently for a long time now haha.
