My 180g aquarium has no decor have too many specie of fish to have territorial issues in the 180g but the smaller aquariums has some wood, live plants, fake plants and pvc hide out for the nocturnal catfish.

3 inches, 4 inches, 5 inches. no lower jaws, not going to have 10 upper jaws, maybe 5 max. When do you think I should move them and what size tank do you think is appropriate?
Really up to you and how much work you wanna do bigger tank + less fish = less wc.

I would go as big as you can (realistically) if you go with a 75 it may work for your current needs but gping bigger 120 and up will give u more room to grow and go in a different direction if you choose

Each to their own, myself I prefer some aquascaping. Driftwood and plants and yes I am very overstocked with 13 bichirs in a 180

Burbotman, this is one of my favorite tanks. Great job with the aquascaping. Simple, natural, and not too crowded with decor

I find decors a pain to organize with fish over 16". My pbass is a brute and would constantly destroy plants so I stop adding woods and fake plants. All I have is one giant driftwood to tone down aggression.
